Help build the private-land marketplace in Kansas.

Become a Wing It Founding Landowner.

We’re building Wing It’s first concentrated marketplace with a select group of quality Kansas properties. Founding landowners will help us learn what activities, pricing and property experiences generate the strongest demand—while earning income from bookings along the way.

Now recruiting founding properties in Kansas.

Your land. Your rules.

Listing is not the same as giving up control.

You decide what your land is used for, when it is open, what it costs and who is on it. Wing It provides the marketplace and the transaction infrastructure that connects your property with outdoor users.

  • You choose the activities you want to offer.
  • You open selected dates and keep the rest of your calendar closed.
  • You set the price you want to receive.
  • You set guest limits for your property.
  • You write the property rules guests agree to.
  • You provide access instructions to approved guests only.
  • You review booking requests and approve the ones that work for you.

Wing It sells short-term recreational access days — not long-term leases.

How it works

Three steps to your first booking.

Getting listed is straightforward, and nothing happens on your property without your approval.

STEP 1

List your property

Tell us about your land and the recreational opportunities it can offer. Find your property on the map and claim it to get started.

STEP 2

Set your terms

Choose the activities, available dates, price, guest limits and property rules.

STEP 3

Approve bookings & get paid

Review booking requests, approve the ones that work for you, and receive the landowner price when the property is booked.

What makes a good Wing It property

Properties don’t have to be huge. They have to offer an experience.

A quarter section with a good creek bottom, a farm pond that holds fish, a timbered draw that deer move through, a quiet corner to pitch a tent — these are the kinds of places outdoor users are looking for. We are interested in properties that can support experiences such as:

Hunting
Fishing
Camping
Wildlife & outdoor recreation
Foraging & other activities

A property that can support more than one activity across more than one season has more opportunities to be booked.

What founding landowners are helping build

Real properties, real bookings, real answers.

Founding landowners are not test subjects and they are not volunteers — they earn on their bookings like any other landowner. What makes them founding landowners is that they are the first properties in a concentrated Kansas market, which is how we learn:

  • Which activities generate real demand in Kansas.
  • What pricing actually produces bookings.
  • How different property types and sizes perform.
  • What makes a listing convert — photos, description, rules, availability.
  • How to build a repeatable marketplace that other Kansas landowners can join.

To be straightforward with you: being a founding landowner does not come with guaranteed bookings, guaranteed income, guaranteed featured placement, special pricing or permanent privileges. It means being early, being close to our team, and helping shape how this works in Kansas.

What it costs

You set the price you want to receive.

Wing It’s fees are not taken out of your price. You list what you want to earn, and the marketplace and payment-processing fees are added to the guest’s checkout.

Your listed price

$125

An example daily rate. You receive this amount in full.

Wing It marketplace fee

13% + $1

Added to the guest’s checkout, not deducted from your price.

Payment processing

3.15% + $0.55

Also added to the guest’s checkout.

Landowner insurance

Learn more

An annual cost paid by the landowner, not a per-booking cost.

At a $125 daily rate, three bookings generate $375 in landowner revenue — more than the annual insurance cost.

Listing your property on Wing It is free. Figures shown are an illustrative example of how the fee structure works, not a projection of earnings. Actual pricing, demand and booking volume vary by property, location, activity, season and market demand. See illustrative earning scenarios.

Questions

Founding landowner FAQ

Do I lose control of my property?

No. You decide which activities are allowed, which dates are available, what the price is, how many guests can be on the property, what the property rules are, and how approved guests access the land. Wing It does not lease your property or take possession of it. We operate the marketplace that connects your listing with outdoor users and handles the booking and the payment.

Do I have to make my property available all the time?

No. You open the dates that work for you and keep the rest of your calendar closed. Some landowners offer a single season, some offer a handful of weekends, some offer more. That is your call, and you can change your availability.

Who sets the price?

You do — and you enter the amount you want to receive. Wing It’s marketplace fee and payment processing are added on top of your price at the guest’s checkout. They are not deducted from what you listed.

How does Wing It make money?

Wing It charges a marketplace fee of 13% plus a $1.00 booking fee. That fee, along with payment processing of 3.15% plus $0.55 per transaction, is added to the guest’s total at checkout. Wing It does not take a cut of the price you set.

What does it cost me to list?

Listing your property on Wing It is free. There is no membership fee and no subscription. The one recurring cost to a landowner is the required annual liability policy (see the insurance question below).

Can I approve booking requests?

Yes. Booking requests come to you for review, and you approve the ones that work for you. You are not required to accept a request you are not comfortable with.

What kinds of activities can I offer?

Hunting, fishing, camping, wildlife and general outdoor recreation, and other appropriate recreational activities supported by the platform. You select the specific activities your property offers, and you can offer more than one. Stacking several activities across different seasons — for example turkey in the spring, dove in the fall, fishing through the summer — gives your property more opportunities to be booked.

How does insurance work?

Wing It landowners carry an annual liability policy through our insurance partner, covering Wing It activities hosted on the property. It is an annual cost, not a per-booking cost. Learn more.

Wing It is not an insurer, agent or broker, and this page is not a description of coverage. Policy terms, conditions, limits and exclusions are set out in the policy itself. Please review the policy documents and your own circumstances before listing.
