Indiana Deer Hunting Seasons 2025-2026

Archery Season

  • October 1, 2025 – January 4, 2026
  • Crossbow equipment allowed with archery license

Firearm Season

  • November 15–30, 2025

Muzzleloader Season

  • December 6–21, 2025
  • Minimum caliber: 0.40 inches (reduced from 0.44)

Bag Limits & Reporting

  • Statewide: one buck and up to six antlerless deer across all seasons combined
  • All deer must be reported within 48 hours of harvest via GoOutdoorsIN.com, phone (260-368-5880), or on-site check station

Indiana Turkey Hunting Seasons 2025-2026

Fall Turkey Season 2025

  • Archery (statewide): October 1–26, 2025 and December 6, 2025 – January 4, 2026
  • Fall Firearms (select counties): October 15–26, 2025
  • Bag limit: one turkey of either sex per season

Spring Turkey Season 2026

  • Youth Season: April 18–19, 2026
  • Regular Season: April 22 – May 10, 2026
  • Bag limit: one bearded or male turkey
