Washington Deer Hunting Seasons 2025-2026

Modern Firearm Deer – General (Select GMUs)

  • October 11 – November 20, 2025 (dates and weapon type vary by GMU)

Archery Deer

  • September 1 – September 28, 2025 (general archery; some GMUs vary)

Muzzleloader Deer

  • November 22 – December 7, 2025 (eastern Washington; select GMUs)

Youth Deer Weekend

  • October 4–5, 2025 (both sides of the Cascades)

Washington Elk Seasons 2025-2026

Archery Elk

  • September 1 – September 28, 2025 (statewide archery season)

Modern Firearm Elk (Eastern Washington)

  • October 18 – November 20, 2025 (vary by GMU; permit required for some)

Modern Firearm Elk (Western Washington)

  • November 1–13, 2025 (general season; most units)

Washington Turkey Seasons 2025-2026

Fall Turkey (Eastern Washington)

  • September 1 – November 30, 2025 (select GMUs; archery and firearm)

Spring Youth Turkey

  • April 11–13, 2026

Spring General Turkey

  • April 15 – May 31, 2026 (statewide; eastern Washington primary range)

Washington uses Game Management Units (GMUs). Visit Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife for GMU-specific season dates.
